Dock!

This picture was taken with a digital camera and I like the framing of the dock and kayak.

Silly bands photogram!

A photogram is made with photo paper, an enlarger and a subject of your choice. You place your objects on the paper and the light from the enlarger leaves their imprint.

Curly!

The contrast of this picture gives the subject some drama and their facial expression gives them some mystery.

Railing!

The contrasty shadows from the railing and the actual rails create angles in the picture that make them cool subjects.

Running!

I was able to capture the motion in this picture by turning my shutter speed to a high setting. This prevents the picture from being blurry.

Reflection!

I used this picture for my Hands and Feet roll, and I thought it was interesting because the actual hand is not in focus, but its reflection is the main part of the picture.

Lake house!

I liked this picture of a lake house because it was classic and simple, but the house had interesting details that made it unique.

Solarized fence!

This picture was originally just a fence and its shadow, but solarizing this gave it a cool detailed effect. I liked the leading lines of the fence's shadow and how the wood fence is in focus.

Flowers in a pot!

This is the picture I took to demonstrate a small depth of field. The bouquet of flowers is in focus in this picture, but the cabinets in the background are blurry.
